"Jean Sibelius"

He hasn't quit his day job,
which involves teaching at WCC (Introduction to C#.Net, Advanced C#.Net), as well as, until quite recently, being a web/software developer/architect, where he similarity follows an iterative process.

He has dabbled in other media as well, including Ice sculptures and Snow Sculptures (he and his team won first place in the "Michigan Snow Sculpturing Competition" in Ann Arbor, many years back).

"Sorrow"

Aydin Akcasu
has been drawing off-and-on for many years now.

His drawing are of peoples' faces, made using white chalk (or Conte), on a black background.  He uses an iterative process that involves slowly evolving the drawing and giving it more light (white). This has the fascinating effect of giving the appearance of a person who is slowly moving out of a dark room.
